Some nice wordmark-led projects with great color palettes this week, with work from Mexico City, San José, and San Francisco. Bottega by Faena (and Latente) Bottega is a gourmet deli and grocery store in Mexico City, Mexico offering a range of hand-picked brands as well as its own private label. The store is an extension of Italian chef Marco Carboni’s restaurant by the same name, for which local firm, Latente, designed the logo. The packaging, designed by local firm Faena, builds on the design foundation laid out by Latente, so we are celebrating the combined effort of two firms in one Friday Like. The logo is a high-contrast sans serif that we’ve been seeing plenty of in Friday Likes and perhaps that’s my fault but I’m a sucker for that style and I’m also a
