In honor of the projects we Salvaged during the 2013 Brand New Awards judging, here is a selection of three of them that I hadn’t seen before from Lima, Merida, and Zurich. Cementos Inka by Brandlab Available in Peru since 2002, Cementos Inka produces a small selection of cements for construction. Previously sold in a naive-looking bag with the help of a cartoon representation of an Inca, the cement now comes in a bad-ass bag, designed by Lima-based Brandlab, that (pun!) mixes a contemporary approach with a sprinkling of Incan visual motifs.
