Three three-letter logos in three very different styles kick off the month of October this week, with work from Dundalk, Zagreb, and Brooklyn. ilk by Grandson ilk is a menswear fashion brand in Ireland that creates simple, well-made, quality pieces from jackets to t-shirts to pants to shoes. The identity, designed by Dundalk, Ireland-based Grandson, revolves around an extra charming custom wordmark that looks like it came straight out of a 1970s book cover. It manages to do so much with just three letters and you know that this could have easily been a deadpan sans serif. Instead, there is a warmth to it that makes each piece of clothing feel like it was made just for you and embroidered with love. I really like how tightly set it is as it looks like the “i” and “k”
