A couple of blocky logos book-end some extra curvy and serif-y packaging this week, with work from Birmingham, London, and Rosario. June Coffee by Studio Carnley June Coffee is a coffee shop and roasting company in Birmingham, AL, that after existing as a roaster supplying its coffee to other establishments it recently opened its own establishment. The identity, designed by local firm Studio Carnley, introduces a logo that subtly echoes the architectural details of the building’s industrial exterior as well as some of the many lovely details from the interior to create a hard-angled, unique wordmark. I don’t know if it was on purpose but I really like how the “N” looks like an abstract house — like the ones you drew as a kid with a big door and chimney — so it feels literally h
