A pretty wide variety of unconventional typography this week, with work from Oslo, New York and Shangha, and Guadalajara. Innom by TRY Design Owned by discount grocery giant REMA 1000, Innom is a new chain of small convenience stores-slash bakeries in Norway that offers a selection of groceries and coffee and bites to go located in neighborhoods where a giant REMA 1000 wouldn’t fit. The identity, designed by Oslo, Norway-based TRY Design, subtly references the rounded sans serif REMA 1000 logo with a rounded sans serif logo of its own, except one that is far more playful, unique, and feels much more like a boutique restaurant or café than a discount conglomerate.
