Some fun packaging projects this week — after a two-week Friday Likes hiatus — with work from Toulouse, Vancouver, and London. Minifundi by Brand Brothers Minifundi is a specialty coffee roaster and café in Toulouse, France, that is housed in a former car garage in the city’s Bonnefoy district. The identity, designed by Paris- and Toulouse-based Brand Brothers, takes a cue from its grungy, industrial, hard-edged space to produce a chunky wordmark constructed from straight lines only. I wish the “M” and “N” followed the same treatment as the “U” and the “D” with the faceted, fragmented curves but it’s still a fun wordmark and the unicase approach to the “i”s adds some fun texture to it.
