Some bold, condensed, sans serif action this week, with work from New York, Fortaleza, and New York once more. P&T Knitwear by Pràctica P&T Knitwear is a family-owned independent bookstore, podcast studio, event space, and cafe in New York City’s Lower East Side. The business takes its name after the business of founder Bradley Tusk’s grandfather, which sold sweaters and collared shirts in the same neighborhood and the initials were for the last names of the two businessmen, Pudlo and Tusk. The identity, designed by New York- and Barcelona-based Pràctica, takes a couple of cues from the sign in the original P&T Knitwear store (shown at the link) to establish the red, black, and yellow color palette and a condensed sans serif approach for all of the typography.
