A trio of food establishments this week, all with some fun typographic choices and embellishments, with work from Seoul, Bruges, and Barcelona. Bluff Coffee by Junyoup Bong Bluff Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and coffee shop in Ilsan, a planned city located northwest of Seoul, South Korea. The identity, designed by Seoul-based Junyoup Bong, is minimalist and one could describe it as fairly repetitive and basic, replicating the logo in black or white on kraft-colored materials and that being pretty much it BUT the logo is everything with the very clever execution of the two “ff” ligatures in italics and their angle perfectly aligning with the position of each ligature across the two lines of the name.
