Three great wordmarks based on retail typefaces lead the charge this week, with work from Geneva, Guadalajara, and Birmingham (UK). Pinsa by twks Pinsa is a restaurant in Geneva, Switzerland, serving pinsa — not to be confused with pizza. The identity, designed by local firm twks, keeps things simple with a bold wordmark based on Bandit, which is used throughout the rest of the identity. The logo not only spells out the name of the establishment but screams what the product you are about to consume is with a charming sans serif with a subtle reverse stress that looks as if it could be found on the streets of Italy.
