Hook ’em No More

The University of Texas sent a cease and desist letter to Donut Taco Palace in Austin to stop selling its “Longhorn Donut” that’s shaped like the popular “Hook ’em Horns” hand signal flashed by students and fans. The main claim is the use of the trademarked “Longhorns” name but I think being in the shape of the signal is what pushed the lawyers over the fence.
