Toot your own Matterhorn

Toblerone will no longer be allowed to use a depiction of the Matterhorn mountain peak in its packaging because owner Mondelez is moving all of the chocolate’s production to Slovakia away from Bern, Switzerland. As such, Toblerone no longer fits the criteria of a “Swissness” law that limits the use of Swiss-specific imagery and iconography to products where at least 80% of their raw materials must come from or be made in Switzerland.
