2017LA Chargers not-New Logo
Yesterday, NFL team owner Dean Spanos announced the San Diego Chargers will relocate to Los Angeles for the 2017 season and their social media account avatars switched to show a new “LA” logo with a bolt, leading the media to think it was the team’s new logo. But a FOX Sports L.A. correspondent got a confirmation from the team that IT IS NOT the new logo, just a marketing element for now — which some argue is a retraction in response to the negative backlash the announcement and logo generated. As someone who could care less about where the Chargers play I can detachedly say I like the mark.
