The Washington Redskins have announced a temporary name, "Washington Football Team", to be used through the 2020 NFL season while they take the time needed for a proper evolution. While this may seem like a cop-out it seems sensible — the same can not be said for ALL those spikes in the temporary wordmark — as they simply can not get the evolution wrong.
