One of my early (and prized) design book purchases was What a Character! by Warren Dotz (and Jim Morton). Dotz’s other books (with Masud Husain) Meet Mr. Product (Vol 1), and Mr. Product (Vol 2) have been reissued by Insight Editions in hardcover and are excellent collections of the most animated brand spokespersons.
