New Logo and Identity for Academy Museum of Motion Pictures by Vedros Studio

Opened in 2021 in Los Angeles, CA, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is the largest museum in the United States devoted to the arts, sciences, and artists of moviemaking. Established by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (purveyors of The Oscars), the museum is housed in the former the May Company Building, redesigned and refurbished by Renzo Piano, and features seven floors with exhibition spaces, education and special event spaces, a conservation studio, a café, and a museum store as well as the 1,000-seat David Geffen Theater and 288-seat Ted Mann Theater that will present a year-round calendar of screenings, film series, and more.
