New Logo and Identity for Brutal Burrito by Tres Tipos Gráficos

Opened in June of 2021, Brutal Burrito is a fast casual restaurant in the hip neighborhood of Malasaña in Madrid, Spain. Dedicated to serving traditional burritos — not the American kind but the kind found across northern Mexico — the restaurant has been in the works since 2019 by a group of, I believe, three friends who embarked on the process of seeking investors, researching the burrito-making process, ideating the menu, changing the name three times and, apparently, going through two identity design exercises. The result is a single location restaurant — with interiors designed by local architecture firm Burr — serving freshly-made burritos that use daily-made tortillas in a special oven brought from Mexico, fresh salsas, and all kinds of good meats.
