New Logo and Identity for Castelfalfi by Base Design
Opened in 2017, Castelfalfi is a 2,700-acre destination in Tuscany, Italy, offering a 5-star hotel, long-term residences, a 27-hole golf course, and its own village. The village first appeared on a map in 754 A.D. and was established by the Lombard King Faolfo, from which the name Castelfalfi comes from: “Castrum – Faolfo”, meaning Faolfo’s Castle. Just over an hour outside of Florence, Castelfalfi houses olive groves, vineyards — it produces its own wine and olive oil — a forest full of truffles, hillside trekking paths, a peaceful garden, a church, and a medieval castle.
