New Logo and Identity for Center for Journalism & Democracy by Ghost Note
(Est. 2022) “The Center for Journalism & Democracy at Howard University is the first-of-its-kind academic center committed to strengthening historically-informed, pro-democracy journalism. The Center is led by founder Nikole Hannah-Jones, the Knight Chair in Race and Journalism. Rooted in the history of integrity and journalism as activism, the Center for Journalism & Democracy seeks to honor and disseminate the traditions of the Black press by training journalists across the diaspora of HBCUs (Historically black colleges and universities). Founded at Howard University, long an epicenter of Black intellectual thought and home to the nation’s oldest Black collegiate newspaper, the Center will develop and support budding investigative journalists.” Historical refere
