New Logo and Identity for Chatham by Order
Launched in 2020 as a Kickstarter campaign, Chatham is a new (yet very old) brand of wool blankets produced by Alex Chatham, the great-great-grandson of Alexander Chatham, who founded Chatham Manufacturing Company in 1877. Located in Elkin, North Carolina, the wool mill began creating blankets early on and over the decades its product found its way everywhere from upscale department stores to two World wars, eventually also creating custom wool interiors for car brands including Ford, Chrysler, and Studebaker. At some point more than 3,000 people worked at the wool mill and the company was literally part of the fabric of the community.
