New Logo and Identity for Crane by COLLINS
Established in 1801, Crane is an American paper manufacturer known for its 100% cotton papers and stationery. Its origins date back to 1770 when Stephen Crane purchased the Liberty Paper Mill near Boston, MA, and became the paper provider to print the American Colonies’ first batch of money. The client? Paul Revere. Over the years, decades, and centuries Crane has continued to produce paper for both currency-making as well as for social use, serving as the stationery or notecard of choice for everyone from Jackie Kennedy to Franklin D. Roosevelt to Jimmy Fallon. I’m no Jackie Kennedy but I can attest to the attraction of Crane’s paper — one of my favorite business cards I ever designed and printed was on Crane’s Lettra range and it had an unparalleled feel.
