Established in 1978, the Lubeznik Center for the Arts is a contemporary arts center in Michigan City, IN, a small lakefront city on the border of Indiana and Michigan right next to the popular Indiana Dunes State Park. Originally named the John G. Blank Art Center when it was established as the city’s first center for art classes and exhibitions, it was renamed The Jack & Shirley Lubeznik Center for the Arts in 2003 after local residents, art enthusiasts, and philanthropists, Jack and Shirley Lubeznik, donated the current building.
