New Logo and Identity for St John’s College by SomeOne
Established in 1511 (not a typo), St John’s College is one of the 31 colleges that are part of the University of Cambridge, where each of them are self-governing institutions with their own endowments and property. Founded by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII, St John’s is one of the largest and most prestigious Colleges, with nearly 1,000 students and a very generous endowment of £974 million and offers courses across more than 15 subjects as varied as archaeology, linguistics, and veterinary medicine. As is usually the case with Cambridge (and Oxford) colleges, the institution’s grounds and buildings are stunning. Alumni include the winners of twelve Nobel Prizes, seven prime ministers, twelve archbishops of various countries, at least two princes, and three saints.
