New Logo, Identity, and Packaging for Mush by Manual
Established in 2015, Mush is a U.S. brand of ready-to-eat, single-serve overnight oats available in a handful of flavors. Founded by Ashley Thompson and Katherine Thomas, who previously worked in finance, the product had humble beginnings when it was first sold at a farmer’s market and was made from ingredients purchased at Costco, had a 7-day shelf life, and was packaged in soufflé containers. In 2017 the founders appeared on Shark Tank, accepted an investment offer from Mark Cuban, and, as with many success stories of the show, sales pick up dramatically after the appearance and gained particular success with the crossfit community. As it aims to further expand its reach and audience, Mush recently introduced a new identity and packaging designed by San Francisco, CA-based Manual.
