New Logo, Identity, and Packaging for Omsom by Outline

Launched in 2020, Omsom is a new brand of starters — packets of goodness that include all the sauces, aromatics, and seasonings needed for a recipe — to recreate authentic Asian dishes at home. Omsom, which is originally spelled as “om sòm” is a Vietnamese phrase meaning noisy, rambunctious, and/or riotous, which was embraced by the two sisters behind the brand, Vanessa and Kim Pham, daughters of Vietnamese refugees and first-generation Vietnamese Americans, who wanted to bring proud, loud Asian flavors to anyone’s kitchen.
