Agencies Assemble!

Omnicom — parent company of agencies like BBDO, Doyle Dane Bernbach, TBWA, and Zimmerman — has announced it will acquire Interpublic Group — parent company of agencies like Chase Design, Deutsch, FCB, Futurebrand, McCann, MullenLowe, R/GA, and The Martin Agency. The combined company “will bring together the industry’s deepest bench of marketing talent, and the broadest and most innovative services and products, driven by the most advanced sales and marketing platform” and will count with over 100,000 employees to deliver “end-to-end services across media, precision marketing, CRM, data, digital commerce, advertising, healthcare, public relations and branding”.
