Let your Kid Flag Fly

The City of Evanston, IL, has a new flag courtesy of 7-year-old Bernie Allen-Harrah following a contest organized by the office of Mayor Daniel Biss. Students from K to 12 grades across Evanston participated, submitting over 200 designs. Nine finalists were paired with local graphic designers to refine their designs. Bernie and her mentor, Keith Glantz, were selected as the winners. Pretty nice flag!
