Syracuse’s New Flag

Last month, the city of Syracuse, NY, introduced its new official flag, dubbed First Light. An initiative by non-profit organization Adapt CNY and the city of Syracuse, a call for submissions attracted over 300 designs that were reviewed and judged by a non-partisan committee who selected four finalists for the public to vote on. The winning selection was designed by 8th-generation Syracusan, Eric Hart. Really nice design. Full project details here and in-depth story at the link.
