New Logo and Identity for Lub d by DesignStudio

Established in 2008, Lub d is a chain of affordable hostels in Southeast Asia that combine combine the communal aspects of a hostel with the quality aspects of a premium hotel. The name is a play on the Thai phrase “làp dee” which means “sleep well” (according to Lonely Planet as my Thai is a little rusty). With five locations in Bangkok Siam, Phuket Patong, Koh Samui, Philippines Makati, and Cambodia Siem Reap, one of the hotel’s distinguishing offers are curated experiences and no shortage of recommendations from the hosts on their favorite off-the-beaten-track beaches, local hangouts, or special restaurants, all through their mantra of “Take a Wrong Turn”.
