M1 is the first commercial radio station in Lithuania, established in 1989 and broadcasting out of the capital city of Vilnius, with bandwidth in cities around the country. They play contemporary pop, rock, and dance music, including many English-speaking artists, and regularly sponsor live music events. Like most traditional radio stations in recent years, their listeners have turned to streaming and other digital options. To help reengage their audience and reclaim some cultural cachet—and to unify a landscape of different sub-brands—M1 turned to andstudio of Vilnius for a new logo and identity system.
