New Logo and Identity for Matter by Interbrand

Established in 2021, Matter is the new industry-unifying standard that will deliver new levels of simplicity, reliability, and interoperability for smart home products. Work began on this protocol in 2019 under the name “Project Connected Home over IP” (or “Project CHIP”) and is the result of a collaboration between Apple, Amazon, Google, SmartThings, Schneider Electric, NXP Semiconductors, and the Connectivity Standards Alliance (previously Zigbee Alliance), which represents over 180 companies of all sizes and across the IoT value chain who came together in 2002 to develop and promote the adoption of this new connectivity standard.
