New Logo and Identity for Studio Museum in Harlem by Pacific
Established in 1968, the Studio Museum in Harlem is an American art museum devoted to the work of artists of African descent. Located at 144 West 125th Street in the Harlem neighborhood in New York, NY, it is, in their words, “the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally, and internationally and for work that has been inspired and influenced by Black culture. It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society.” Its permanent collection represents more than 700 artists, spans 200 years of history, and includes nearly 9,000 works of art while its scope also includes temporary exhibitions, artists-in-residence programs, and educational and public programming.
