New Logo and Packaging for Canada Dry by Wedge
Established in 1904, Canada Dry, best known for its Ginger Ale, is a brand of soft drinks and mixers that include club soda, tonic water, sparkling seltzer water, and a slew of flavored sodas. Originally brewed by Canadian pharmacist and chemist John J. McLaughlin, who owned a sparkling water plant, the flagship drink was known as Pale Ginger Ale and had a beaver as its logo. This changed when, three years after its introduction, the drink was appointed to the Viceregal Household of the Governor General of Canada and the beaver was replaced with the present crown and shield.
