New Logo, Identity, and Packaging for CleanO2 by The Office of Ordinary Things
Established in 2013, CleanO2 is, in their words, “a carbon capture technology company that manufactures proprietary hardware to capture fugitive carbon emissions and upcycles the sequestered byproduct in cleaning products and fertilizers”. What that means, and which is pretty amazing, is that they have invented a machine called CarbinX that connects to the natural-gas heating systems (boilers, water heaters, and furnaces) in buildings, it captures the carbon dioxide emitted from them, sequesters it, turns it into non-toxic pearl ash (potassium carbonate), and, lastly, the pièce de résistance, they upcycle that potassium carbonate to create soaps that have a distinct “luxuriously silky, sudsy lather”.
