Wi-Fi by Generation

The Wi-Fi Alliance recently introduced Wi-Fi 6 which is the first time they call it a logical number instead of something crazy like "Wi-Fi 802.11ax" and is supposed to be the new naming convention for Wi-Fi versions, which is a valiant branding exercise except that the mainstream consumer doesn’t care and only wants to know the passwords to get on them.
