2017Follow-up: The OG
Back in January I linked to a story about how the Georgia Bulldogs and Gambling State Tigers had asked, and gotten, permission from the Green Bay Packers to use a “G” logo just like the latter. The problem was that I used the wrong logos to illustrate the story. Long-time reader Scott Kneeskern, Creative Director with the Minnesota Orchestra in Minneapolis, MN, was kind enough to set me straight, providing a sample of the original 1960s Packers logo and samples of each team’s helmet from the era. Thanks Scott!
