Some strikingly different — from each other — packaging projects this week, with work from Valencia, Los Angeles, and Singapore. Revelum by Brandsummit Revelum is a new brand of Iberian ham that has been sliced by hand the traditional way and sold in an innovative, patent-pending combination of oil and spices inside a glass jar. The purpose of this is in part for the consumer to avoid having to cut their own ham, which ain’t easy, and to have juicy ham, which may not be to everyone’s liking but, hey, oil good, ham good. The identity, designed by Valencia, Spain-based Brandsummit alludes to that clash of culinary ideas of the typical dry ham and its serving in oil by combining a simple sans serif with a funky, display, stroke typeface — anyone know what it is? — that looks like
