A trio of packaging projects this week, ranging from bonkers to less bonkers, with work from Hong Kong, Porto, and San Francisco. ZVYK by .Oddity Studio ZVYK is a new skin care brand from Korea. Its name means “habit” in Czech and it encourages its audience to make small simple habit changes that will reap big results in time. The identity, designed by Hong Kong-based .Oddity Studio is based on the idea of small habits which they interpret as taking “simple shapes, repeat[ing] them, rotat[ing], scal[ing], mirror[ing], distort[ing] and repeat[ing] it again until they become unique, bold, beautiful, and expressive shapes — as rare as you are.” I’ll admit upfront that I don’t think this identity will be everyone’s cup of tea.
