This week turned out to be an unplanned male-appealing, male-focused, male-centered set of identities with work from Melbourne, London, and Adelaide. Traveller by The Company You Keep One of the hardest tricks to pull is to appear to NOT be clever by being overly clever. The logo for Traveller, an espresso bar in Melbourne run by Seven Seeds, is the image of a shoe on the move. You know… it’s traveling. It’s such a simple and clever idea it almost passes for dumb. The execution by Melbourne-based The Company You Keep is delightful, in a pasty green and off-white color palette and a modest dose of playful typography. Americans might clamor for a politically-correct alternate or complementary version with a woman’s shoe, though. See full project. Cemento by Design by
