DesignStudio, whose work we’ve been covering since their debut with the Airbnb logo and identity in 2015 and who have become one of the most prominent firms of the last ten years, has announced they are changing their name to Further. I still remember trying to Google “Design Studio” in 2015 and given that it was such a generic term for, you know, a design studio, they were impossible to find. Now that they are finally the number one result for “Design Studio”, the uphill climb begins again to establish “Further”, another general-use word that is hard to own but it is a cool name for a, um, design studio.
