New Logo and Identity for Rescue Now by Pentagram

The first logo design was born in early March 2022, during the hottest phase of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. To create the logo, the founders of Rescue Now then used the idea of the Ukraine NOW project’s identity, adapting it to the foundation’s objectives. Thinking about who could do the rebranding, the foundation’s leaders immediately thought of Pentagram design bureau.“In fact, we had no other options but Pentagram. They are one of the best in the design world, so we wanted them to create a new identity for us. Pentagram has offices in Berlin, Austin, London, and New York, and we wrote letters to each office. Berlin responded, namely Justus Oehler, one of Pentagram’s partners,” says Rescue Now.“In the process, we refused th
