New Logo and Identity for The National Ballet of Canada by Bruce Mau Design
Established in 1951, The National Ballet of Canada is one of the world’s premier ballet companies, renowned for its diverse repertoire, including full-length classics and contemporary work. Founded by Celia Franca, who remained its artistic director for 24 years, the company of 70 dancers has been led by artistic director Hope Muir since 2022. Featuring its own orchestra, the National Ballet performs three extended engagements at Toronto’s Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts each year, in addition to national and international tours, with appearances in Paris, London, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Hamburg, New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Recently, The National Ballet of Canada introduced a new identity designed by Toronto-based Bruce Mau Design.
