Launched in 1997 (originally named PTV then PTV4), Nelonen — Finnish for the number 4 — is an entertainment channel in Finland focusing on import programming from Australia, the U.S., the UK, and Europe. If you’ve ever wanted to watch Frasier with Finnish subtitles, today at 6:00 pm and 1:50 am is your chance. This past December, Nelonen introduced a new logo and on-air package designed by London-based Proud Creative after a 4-way creative pitch.The original logo form was conceived from early experimentation with folded strips of paper.
