Search Warrant
For as long as we’ve been around, one of the design industry’s primary concerns has been having a portfolio website that showcases our work but with AI-driven search results becoming ever more prevalent as the go-to answer — especially on Google where their AI responses get pushed hard — a new concern is: How do AI agents interpret designers’ websites? Motion and branding agency BUCK has added an agent-first inquiry protocol page in which they describe, IN DETAIL (and, although not their fault, in a way that makes you want to never read anything again), what they do and how they do it all while catering to how AI agents format their responses. In a LinkedIn post, BUCK’s Group Creative Director, Even Boehm, explains that this page “presents us as the way we want to be presented as opposed to how the AI thinks we should be presented.” Makes you wish for the days where SEO was your biggest challenge.
